Geri Dibiase Solo Exhibition

As I see it... from Kodachrome to iPhone

“Slow down and take a closer look” is the philosophy of photographer Geri Dibiase, who brings her art to CAMP Rehoboth for a one-woman exhibition “As I see it…from Kodachrome to iPhone.” The exhibition will be on display from June 4 to July 2, 2022, with a reception on Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m.

After a successful 15 years as the owner of The Main Street Studio in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, Geri returned full time to her passion for photography. “I am grateful for my life behind the camera,” says Dibiase, “as it has provided the opportunity to go more slowly, to take a closer look. There is such beauty around us, in both the grand and the minute, and I am delighted to be living and working in Southern Delaware amidst the beauty of our coastline.”

The relaxed quality of her work has led interior designers to place her work in industrial and private collections, corporate settings, album covers and posters. Geri’s image “Manayunk Sunset” was the featured piece for the Manayunk Arts Festival in 2014. In addition, her work has been featured in the Maine Photographic Workshop summer show in NYC, the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg, PA and the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, DE. Numerous solo shows include the Delaware Arts Gallery, the Thunderbird Shop, Mixx, Cloud 9, and Lula Brazil.

“CAMP Rehoboth is thrilled to host Geri’s exhibition,” says CAMP Rehoboth Arts Director Leslie Sinclair. “She is a local favorite and a long-time supporter of the community. Over the years she has donated art to CAMP Rehoboth fundraisers, shared her art for Women’s FEST shirts, photographed the Broadwalk on the Boardwalk from a balcony, and much more. “

Geri’s creativity and talent are on display in this exhibition. From local scenes, to landscapes, florals, and creative compositions, there is something for everybody. Take a moment to slow down. Stop by to enjoy the art and attend the reception to see how Geri sees it!
